The Cyberspace expands international boundaries and provides penetration into practically all world governments. The illusion of absolute privacy is, however, erroneous because of the number of surveillance tools used by various Web-sites: e-mail tapping, digital signatures, encryptions and cookies. Due to the fact that everyone wihes to secure their electronic communications, the issues of Internet privacy is particularly important in modern world.

1) Privacy on Web is doubtful because of the use of cookies and IP addresses as identification and surveillance tools.
2) Internet privacy is still overlooked by the U.S. legislation, as the responsibility for violation is still disproportionably poor comparing to the potential risks for the users.
3) Although proclaimed in the Web statutes, the privacy of online communication (ICQ, Miranda and so forth) is also only partial.

Primary issues to discuss:
1) In the middle of 2006, AOL published the results of three-month search history, including the users' IDs, and discovered the identities of numerous customers. Is this case a violation of privacy principle of a necessity, dictated by the need for basic surveillance?
2) Is Internet privacy so critical for every user? Which user groups are hypothetically more concerned about Web-confidentiality?
3) Should Cyberspace privacy receive its separate jurisdiction (code or set of laws)?
4) How are privacy and confidentiality regulated in E-commerce and E-tourism markets?
5) Think carefully why Web-surveillance enjoys so much attention and has such a great number of innovations. In which way should Internet-users be protected if such surveillance abuses personal privacy?
